Does this site use cookies?
No. This site sets no cookies, first- or third-party, and carries no analytics. The only thing the browser stores is your light or dark theme preference, in local storage, which is never sent to any server.
What does the browser store, then?#
One thing: whether you chose the light or dark theme. It is kept in the browser's local storage, which is not a cookie — it travels in no request and reaches no server, ours or anyone else's.
| What | Where | Sent to a server |
|---|---|---|
| Theme preference | local storage | no |
| Dismissed language notice | local storage | no |
You can clear it whenever you like from your browser settings. All that happens is that the site returns to your system theme.
Why is there no analytics?#
Because the price is not worth it. An analytics tool brings cookies, cookies bring a consent banner, and the banner brings forty kilobytes of JavaScript that shift the content as it appears — on top of the legal work of declaring one more processor.
In exchange you get a visit count. We prefer the site fast and without a banner.
And third-party resources?#
None. The typeface is served from this same domain, not from an external delivery network. There are no marketing tags, no pixels, no heatmaps and no embedded chat.
The only exception is the calendar on the demo page, and it loads only if you press the button, with a notice in front of it saying what is about to load. Until you press it, nothing leaves your browser towards any third party.
